Welcome to Nestcoonoor

  • The place is located at a beautiful location. You get a view of the mountain first thing in the morning. The place is away from the noisy Ooty and at a decent distance from Coonoor. Hence it's very quiet. The food is good. The care taker is a very nice fellow. The hosts were very sweet. We had a nice casual conversation with them just before leaving and that was definitely the icing on the cake. They have options for custom menu, barbeque, bonfire etcetera if you are pretty lavish on budget. Finally, the houses are beautiful, the rooms and neat and clean :) It's a place you would want to visit again.

  • We stayed here for 2 days during the end of September month. We booked 2 rooms. Our cottage was the one above the dining area. It had a wonderful view of the mountains on one side and tea plantation on the other side. We also had an opportunity to meet the hosts. They were very warm and pleasing. They made sure we had a comfortable stay. Food was very tasty and our whole family relished the food. We also had bonfire for a night. Even my toddler enjoyed her stay there. She loved running around n playing in the lawn area.

  • Beautiful location and tastefully decorated cottages. The Large french windows overlooking the mountains was the high point. The staff is extremely supportive and treat you to home cooked food. The flora and fauna is well maintained . The tea estates are just half a km away from the property. Would love to visit again

  • Travelled with family for a weekend. Stayed in the front villa. The view from the cottage is awesome, especially at dawn. The rooms are very well maintained with attention to detail. Loved the French windows in both rooms. Perfect place to gaze at the beautiful mountains and listen to your favorite music or read. We opted for the vegetarian food. Lunch and dinner was a nice homely spread. The breakfast which was complimentary was also delicious. Definitely going back! Attaching a picture from my most favorite spot in the cottage.
